For almost 30 years, IPS has provided many local residential clients, businesses and larger corporations with prompt, dependable and affordable plumbing services. Business owner and manager, Allan Boxsell, has been in the plumbing profession since 1977. His reputation, as well as that of his son Andrew and employee Blake, for reliable and efficient service, has grown steadily over the years.

In 1989, IPS became a member of The NSW Master Plumbers Association, which led a few years later to our involvement with MPAL, the Master Plumbers' own training scheme who are responsible for employing top-quality apprentices and matching them with host trainers.

In 2013, Illawarra Plumbing Service was awarded the "NSW Master Plumbers Apprentices LTD - Apprentice Host Trainer Award" for having trained 12 apprentices over a 23-year period, with new tradesman Blake Lewis receiving the award for "Best 4th Year Apprentice".

In addition to our affiliation with some of Wollongong's quality builders, who have over the years completed many award-winning projects, we can also offer our expertise in home and water heating installations, backflow installations, repairs and certification, right down to that problem toilet or leaky tap.

If your gutters and downpipes are looking a bit tired or rusty, we can arrange a quote to get it all in order again. When drains are in need of attention, we can engage our one-tonne mini excavator to gain access to the side of an average home to excavate and replace that problem sewer or stormwater system.
